Please contact our periodontists today if you want to learn more about the many benefits of our LANAP laser in Ocoee, Florida.

Precision Periodontics & Dental Implants is a leading periodontal office. We are dedicated to providing comfortable, state-of-the-art treatments, using LANAP Laser Gum Treatment to help you regain a healthy smile. LANAP treatments are minimally invasive, requiring no scalpels or sutures, and very little pain. LANAP helps us deliver great results to patients with moderate and advanced gum disease.

When you receive your LANAP treatment, our periodontists will begin by measuring the depth of your periodontal pockets to determine how severely you have been affected by gum disease. We will then use a pulsed laser light to remove diseased tissue from your pockets and kill bacteria. Calculus will be removed from your teeth by using small, ultrasonic scaling instruments. The laser will be passed over the area a second time to stimulate the soft tissue, root, and bone, causing the blood to clot and form a seal around your tooth. Your gum tissue will be recompressed against the surfaces of the teeth. Our periodontists will adjust your bite to ensure that there is no trauma to your teeth. This is particularly important if you have experienced bone loss.

Laser dentistry is safe for use, and is backed by extensive research. Laser gum treatments promote faster healing times and bone regeneration, and are less painful and time consuming than other gum disease treatments.

For more information about LANAP, and to discover if you are a candidate for laser dentistry, we welcome you to contact our office and schedule a consultation with our periodontists.
