With both her parents being dentists, dentistry comes naturally to Dr. Roca Mendro. After receiving her dental degree at Francisco Marroquín University, Dr. Roca Mendro continued her advanced education at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. She later went on to the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey/Rutgers where she completed her residency in periodontics and her Master of Science degree.
Dr. Roca Mendro is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. She is a published author and is active in the local dental community as well as abroad, helping individuals receive dental care in rural villages of Guatemala. She speaks Spanish and Italian.
